Police in Wikes-Barre say they responded to a call for shots fired November 23, 2018 at 10:57pm hrs to a home in the 700 block of North Pennsylvania Ave.
Upon arrival authorities say they encountered the victim, 18 year old Jacob T Shedlock, who was suffering from a single gunshot wound to his torso. Police say the Shedlock was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital for treatment. A short time after arriving at the hospital the Shedlock succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday November 26, 2018 at 10:00 am.
The scene was secured and processed by the Pennsylvania State Police Wyoming. Police say there is an ongoing investigation by the Wilkes-Barre Detective Division and the Luzerne County DA’s Office Detective Division.
