Police in Manheim Township say they charged a woman with Driving Under the Influence and Endangering Welfare of Children following an accident in the township about 8:15PM, Saturday, December 1, 2018,in the 100 block West Oregon Road

Authorities say Ashley T. Hilt, 35 of Lancaster, was driving the vehicle in that crash and exhibited signs of impairment with her 8-year-old child in the vehicle. Hilt was arrested and chemical testing yielded a blood alcohol content of 0.263%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08%.

Hilt entered an Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition program in 2016 for DUI with a Blood Alcohol Content which also resulted in a crash.

Hilt was taken to Central Arraignment after processing. Hilt remains in the Lancaster County Prison unable to make bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled before District Justice Dennis E. Reinaker in Demceber 6, 2018 at 9:30AM.
