Wilkes-Barre, PA

Police in Hanover Township, Luzerne County say they’ve arrested two people for trafficking in narcotics Saturday night around 6:50PM on 1st Street in Hanover Township.

Authorities say Melissa Pruveadenti, 39 years old ofHanover Township, and Mike Finley, 52 years, of Wilkes Barre, were arrested following an investigation involving the Luzerne County Drug Task Force in conjunction with the Hanover Township Narcotics Unit for the trafficking of crystal methamphetamine  in Hanover Township.

Officers say the pair were taken into custody at Pruveadenti’s residence. Narcotics officers allegedly recovered crystal methamphetamine, a digital scale, small amount of marijuana as well as cash from both people arrested.

The pair were charged with the following offenses”

Melissa Pruveadenti:
Delivery of crystal methamphetamine (2 counts)
Possession with the intent to deliver crystal methamphetamine (3 counts)
Criminal conspiracy to possess with the intent to deliver crystal methamphetamine

Mark Finley:
Possess with the intent to deliver crystal methamphetamine
Criminal conspiracy to possess with the intent to deliver crystal methamphetamine
Possession of a small amount of marijuana
Driving while operating privilege is suspended/revoked (DUI related)
Stop sign violation

The two were transported to the Luzerne County Prison for overnight arraignment.

The pairwere arraigned before District Magistrate Ferris Webby and bail was set at $ 35,000.00
