Middlesex Township Police stop man for public intoxication, find drugs and syringe

Carlisle, PA

On Tuesday, August 20, 2019, Middlesex Township Police say they stopped a male walking on the Harrisburg Pike after observing him staggering into traffic and nearly being struck by a vehicle. The man was identified as Jared Rohrer.

During the officer’s encounter with Rohrer they suspected he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Police say they found controlled substances in Rohrer’s possession as well as a used syringe.

Rohrer was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Prison.  Rorher was arrested in July for Marijuana-Small Amount Personal Use and Careless Driving.
