Voters approve of President Trump’s decision to scrap the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and think the new U.S. trade deal with Mexico is better for America.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters favor the Trump administration’s decision to renegotiate NAFTA. Thirty-five percent (35%) oppose that decision, while 14% are undecided.
The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on August 28-29, 2018 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
