Guilty plea and sentencing Jamal Everett enters a guilty plea and receives a 5 to 10 year state sentence
On Wednesday, January 17, 2018 Jamal Everett, 28, of York City, entered a guilty plea to Robbery in two separate cases. Those incidents were committed on August 24, 2017 and September 8, 2017. The District Attorney drops attempted homicide charges for man 28 year old.
Judge Ness sentenced Everett to 5 to 10 years incarceration on each case to run concurrent with each other.
The 28 year old was arrested in February 2016 in for 2 Counts Conspiracy – Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver and Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver and was released on bail the following month.
In that case the District Attorney dropped all but one of the conspiracy charge and in a negotiated plea deal in July 2016 Everett was sentenced to 3 months to 23 months.
