Lower Windsor Police ask for residents to help identify man they say may be impersonating PP&L repread more
This morning, York County Court of Common Pleas Judge Harry Ness sentenced James Albright, 57, of Wellsville to 78 years and 3 months to 156 years and 6 months in prison. Additionally, Judge Ness declared Albright to be a Sexually Violent Predator.
Albright had previously been convicted at trial in November of Rape of a Child, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse-Child less than 13, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault-Child less than 13, Indecent Assault, Sexual Assault, IDSI-Child less than 16, Statutory Sexual Assault, Unlawful Contact with a minor and Corruption of Minors. Albright began sexually assaulting the victim at 10 years old and continued until she was 18 years old.
The York County District Attorney’s office released a statement saying, “Although we can never take away the victim’s pain and suffering, we are pleased justice was served today.”
