Northern York County Regional Police Department investigating possible child luring incident

Northern York County Regional Police are investigating a child luring incident officials say may have occurred yesterday, April 2, 2019. 

Central York School District released the following statement about the incident:

Central York School District received information earlier this morning from one of our parents regarding an attempted child luring in the area of Gora Road on April 2, 2019. This information has been reported to Northern York County Regional Police Department and they are investigating.

The District has notified our bus company, Durham Transportation, and all drivers are aware and on alert.

The safety and security of our students is of utmost importance. We appreciate our community’s continued vigilance in sharing information and news to help better safeguard our children.

We will refer any questions or concerns regarding the investigation to Northern York County Regional Police directly, as it is an ongoing investigation at this time. We will provide any updated information as it is shared with us and as appropriate.
