Man wanted for attempted shoplifting incident at Weis’ Market in West Manchester Township

York, PA

On August 6, 2019, at 5:07PM, West Manchester Township Police Department were dispatched to the Weis Markets at 1800 Roosevelt Avenue for a retail theft report.

Police say a middle-aged Hispanic male attempted to steal two portable smokeless grills, valued at $127.80.  The Loss Prevention Officer attempted to stop the subject, who then dropped the merchandise and ran towards Roosevelt Avenue and Greenbriar Road.  We are attempting to identify the male in the attached photo.

Authorities ask anyone able to identify the suspect is encouraged to contact Sergeant Adam Jordan from the West Manchester Township Police Department at (717) 792-9514.
