Hanover Police: York County business robbed

The Hanover Borough Police say they investigating a strong-armed robbery that occurred at a business in the 1000 block of Carlisle Street on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at approximately 8:30 PM. Authorities say the male suspect entered the business and requested change from an employee.

Upon the employee opening the cash register, police say the suspect reached over the counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the register. The suspect then fled the store and got into a dark gray Honda, possibly a Civic and was last observed traveling west on Kuhn Drive. The employee was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male who is between 5’8” and 6’0” tall with an average build. He was wearing a black and white colored floppy hat, white framed sunglasses, dark colored long sleeve shirt, light covered khaki shorts, and black and white shoes.
