The Fairview Township Police Department say they’ve arrested 21-year old Angel L. Martinez of Balm Street, Harrisburg for fleeing from a traffic stop in the 200 block of Commerce Drive, New Cumberland on July 5, 2019, at approximately 9:28 pm.

Authorities say Martinez was the driver of a vehicle that police initiated a traffic stop on when he fled the vehicle and ran away, and his passenger was apprehended.

Police were able to identify Martinez as the driver, and he was apprehended the next day at a local hotel off of Limekiln Road, New Cumberland.  According to police Martinez advised that he fled because he knew he had warrants for his arrest.  Martinez was charged for a small amount of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia in the vehicle with him, in addition to fleeing to police.
