Police say Kaminek was westbound in the 400 block of Lewisberry Road when she lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons. She drove off the road and struck a utility pole, fire hydrant and mailbox. While speaking to Kaminek, authorities say it was obvious she had been drinking alcohol.
Officers report Meridith had a strong odor of alcohol coming from her and was very unsteady on her feet to the point that the officer had to help her maintain her balance.
Following arrest for DUI Meredith transported to UPMC Memorial Hospital in York for a blood test and then to the York County Booking Center for arrest processing. Police say the blood test showed that Kaminek’s BAC was .208%.
