Voters see President Trump’s impeachment as even less likely and think Democrats need to focus on policy issues instead.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 21% of all Likely U.S. Voters now think Trump will be impeached before serving his full term in office. This number has been on the decline since last December when 29% thought Trump’s impeachment was likely. Twenty-five percent (25%) felt that way in May. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on August 22-23, 2018 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence
