The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced Heath Hobbs, age 43, of Pringle, Pennsylvania, was sentenced Wednesday to 18 months’ imprisonment by United States District Court Judge A. Richard Caputo on firearms offenses.
United States Attorney David J. Freed said Hobbs was charged with possession of five stolen firearms. Hobbs admitted to stealing the firearms and trading them for drugs in October 2017.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, Kingston Municipal Police Department, and the Luzerne County Drug Task Force.
