Pennsylvania Game Commission following dear attacks: Control your dogs or face charges

Harrisburg, PA

The Pennsylvania Game Commission says the agency continues to investigate multiple reported deer deaths in the Upper Dauphin County area. Authorities say one of their wardens became aware of several instances where domestic dogs have been responsible for chasing and killing deer.

The agency released a statement letting the public know people can be criminally charged for failing to control dogs who chase and harm wildlife.

If you have any information related to the incidents in Dauphin County the Game Commission is asking you to call the Game Commission’s Southeast Region Office at 610-926-3136 to report it.
