Wilkes-Barre Township Police arrest man on drug paraphernalia charges for hypodermic needle

Wilkes-Barre, PA

Police arrested Jason Lenahan, 40, of Wilkes-Barre, after he was detained in the parking lot of Kohl’s according to Wilkes-Barre Township Police.

Police say Security advised officers that he had shoplifted $114 worth of merchandise. 

Police say Lenahan also  had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, from the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Department for failure to appear.

Authorities say Lenahan was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle and an empty suspected heroin packet.

Lenahan was detained at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. He will be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft at a later date.
