Wilkes-Barre Township man arrested for burglary, assault charges

Hanover, PA


On March 24, 2019, Hanover Township Police were say they were  dispatched to Lee Park Avenue, Hanover Township on the report of a Physical Domestic. Upon arriving police spoke with the complainant who stated that 24 year old Dennis Hynes, of Wilkes-Barre Township,  broke into the residence, through a bathroom window, and assaulted the victim. 

Investigators say they obtained an arrest warrant and Hynes was arrested into  at his home by Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department. 

Hynes was arraigned by District Judge Whitaker and bail was set at $100,000.00 straight cash bail. The subject was transported to the Luzerne County Prison.

Simple Assault
Terroristic Threats
Criminal Mischief
