Wilkes-Barre Police ask for public’s help to identify criminal mischief suspect

Police say they responded to call after in which a woman stated she witnessed a young black male jump on the hood of the neighbors car and smash the windshield. Police say the woman told the male that he should take responsibility for his actions and wait for police.

The male responded with, “F@#$ you and the police”.  Police say the woman stated that the male then walked North on Custer Street then turned right on Coal Street.

The suspected is described as a young male wearing tight dark jeans that were hanging off of his butt according to the woman. He was wearing a short bomber jacket with patches on it.

Police say they went to the management officer at Sherman Hills to review surveillance footage. Police say the suspect  entered the complex and proceeding to building 328 shortly after the call came in.
