Wilkes-Barre Police arrest Krystal Derhammer for DUI, Child Endangerment following traffic stop

Wilkes-Barre, PA

 

Authorities in Wilkes-Barre say police stopped Krystal Mary Derhammer just before 1pm in the 100 block North Main Street for a cross walk violation. Further investigation led police to arrest Derhammer for Driving Under the Influence and Child Endangerment as her 2 year old child was in the vehicle with her at the time.

Derhammer was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Matthew C. Christopher and remains in prison unable to make 10% of a $2500 bond.

Derhammer has been previously convicted of charges relating to fighting, and previously pleaded guilty to DUI in 2005. In 2010, she agreed to a plea deal for Driving while Suspended after originally being charged with numerous offenses including Accidents Involving Death Or Personal Injury.
