Wilkes-Barre man Robert Anthony Wiggins arrested for drug trafficking

Hanover, PA

On February 28, 2019, at approx. 10:44 am , 28 year old Robert Anthony Wiggins, 28 years old of Blackman Street in Wilkes-Barre  was taken into custody in Hanover Township during a joint operation involving the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and the Hanover Township Narcotics Unit.

Wiggins, was taken into custody on Alta Road in  Hanover Township, and arrested on felony narcotics charges stemming from deliveries of crack cocaine in Hanover Township.

Wiggins is currently on Pennsylvania State Parole and a detainer was placed on the subject due to the new charges.

Subjects/Charges:

Delivery of a Sch II Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine (2 counts)
Possess with the Intent to Deliver Sch II Crack Cocaine (2 counts)
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine (2 counts)
Criminal Use of a Communication Facility (1 count)

Wiggins was arraigned before District Judge J. Halesey and bail was set at $120,000.00 straight cash and lodged at Luzerne County Prison.
