Bashir Ingram arrested in Hanover Township following traffic stop with Default In Required Appearance
On August 20, 2019, at approximately 211:30PM, Watsontown Police say they arrested, Logan A. Mathias, 23 years old, 227 Delaware Drive, Watsontown, Pa 17777.
According to police Mathias stalked a female victim at her residence by lying in wait with a loaded firearm. Upon her arrival, he threatened her with the firearm pointing at her, threatening to kill her and another female occupant of the residence. The victim managed to enter her residence and lock the door leaving Mathias on the porch. Mathias then tried to break into the residence threatening to kill all occupants of the residence still brandishing a loaded firearm.
Watsontown Police Department responded and say they confronted the armed suspect, Mathias. After a brief struggle, Mathias was arrested and the firearm seized. Authroties say Mathias was not cooperative and became violent.
Mathias was charged with Attempted Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Terroristic Threats, Resisting Arrest and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was placed in Northumberland County Jail pending arraignment.
Charges will be filed at District Judge Michael Diehl’s office in Milton.
Mathias was convicted and served an Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition (ARD) sentence in 2016 following an arrest for DUI: Highest Rate of Alcohol (BAC .16+) 1st Offense. As a result all charges were later dismissed.
