Timothy D. Evans, 25 of Wilkes-Barre, arrested following joint drug operation in Hanover Township

Hanover, PA

On October 31, 2019, a joint narcotics’ operation was conducted in Hanover Township with the Luzerne County Drug Task Force, Hanover Township Narcotics Unit, Kingston Borough S.I.D. Unit and the uniform division of the Hanover Township Police Department.

Timothy D. Evans, was taken into custody during a trafficking stop on Seminary Road, Hanover Township, for the trafficking of crack cocaine in Hanover Township. Evans attempted to conceal crack cocaine on his person but it was recovered by a task force officer during a search police say.

Evans arraigned before District 11-2-03 Magistrate J. Halesey and bail was set at $125,000 cash. Evans remains lodged at that Luzerne County Prison unable to post bond.

Police say Evans was out on bond  from Aggravated Assault charges stemming from an  incident in Wilkes-Barre City in February.

Timothy D. Evans has been charged with:

Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine (1 count)
Possess with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine (2 counts)
Possession of a Schedule Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine (2 counts)
Criminal Use of a Communication Facility (2 counts)
