Shooting in Wilkes-Barre overnight leaves 2 men injured

 

Wilkes-Barre, PA

On Sunday, October 13, 2019, at approximately12:56AM Wilkes-Barre Police responded to a reported shooting at a residence on South Franklin Street.  They found two injured men, one 23 year old and one 50 year old. The men are being treated at medical facilities for their wounds, their condition was not released by police.

Authorities say their preliminary investigation suggests the persons involved knew each other and the incident is not a random act. The investigation continues.
