Scranton Police ask for your help to identify man they say robbed business with knife

Scranton,  PA

Scranton Police say they need help to identify the man seen in the photos here. Police say he was involved in a Robbery on March 28, 2019, at about 11:30PM at the Gulf Gas Station located at  Franklin and Mulberry at the Gulf gas Station.

Police say the suspect used a large knife in the commission of the robbery as he entered the business demanding the cashier empty the contents of the register into a bag.

Investigators say the clerk was able to flee the rear of the store calling the police. The suspect  was unsuccessful in his attempt to gain money but did make off with numerous items from the store shelves.

Police say they believe he fled on foot toward the downtown area.
