Scranton Police announce arrests in attempted homicide, shootings

Scranton, PA

Scranton Police Street Crimes Unit announced the arrests of Calvin Friday, Jr. for his alleged involvement in discharging a firearm on March 15, 2019,  in the Hill Section of Scranton.

Police also arrested Louelle Isles, Lauren Phillips, and Shatika Cooper, for their alleged roles in Hindering Apprehension and Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officials.

Calvin FRIDAY JR, was previously wanted on Attempted Homicide charges filed by Scranton Police Detectives in connection with a violent armed robbery/home invasion where the victim sustained gunshot wounds to the face and lower hip area, which police say occurred on the 1600 block of Hawthorne Street within the city of Scranton back on January 27, 2019.
