Scranton Police seek to identify suspect in hit and run
Detectives and Officers of the Kingston Borough Police Department, working as members of the Luzerne County Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at 378 Wright Avenue, Apt 1, in Kingston. Police say the search warrant stemmed from an ongoing drug investigation involving Sherrielee Conahan and Lenelle Cobb, both of Kingston. Police say Conahan and Cobb were observed leaving their residence, and walking down Wright Avenue in Kingston, when they were taken into custody.
According to police the search of the residence resulted in the seizure of heroin, fentanyl, a loaded .380 caliber handgun, drug paraphernalia and cash. Police say Conahan and Cobb, who’d left the residence to deliver additional heroin / fentanyl to an unknown person, left two toddler aged children in the apartment alone, within easy reach of several bags of fentanyl and the loaded handgun.
Magisterial District Judge Dixon arraigned Conahan on charges of Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver (six counts), Criminal Use of Communication Facility (three counts), Intent to Possess a Controlled Substance (three counts) and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (three counts). Conahanwas subsequently transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, in lieu of $50,000 straight cash bail.
Conahan and Cobb were transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for overnight arraignment stemming from today’s search warrant, on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin/Fentanyl (one count), Conspiracy to Commit Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin/Fentanyl (one count), Endangering the Welfare of Children (two counts), Possession of Heroin/Fentanyl (one count), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (one count).
