Police: Qumar Hamilton crashes into home, arrested for DUI in Wilkes-Barre, already suspended for DUI

Wilkes-Barre, PA

On October 8, 2019, just after midnight Wilkes-Barre were dispatched to Joseph Lane for a report of a car that had struck a house. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the driver who they say exhibited multiple signs of intoxication. The driver, Qumar Hamilton,  was transported to police headquarters where he submitted to a breath test.

Authorities say Hamilton’s drivers license is currently suspended for prior Driving Under the Influence. Police say charges are pending the return of laboratory tests.
