Police in Luzerne County arrest Ruben Sostre for selling crack cocaine

Hanover, PA

A joint narcotics operation with the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and Narcotics Units from the Hanover Township and Wilkes-Barre City Police Departments led to the arrest of Ruben Sostre on September 6, 2019. Police say Sostre was taken into custody on Loxley Street, Hanover Township by narcotics officers.

The felony arrest stem from narcotics operations  conducted in Hanover Township and Wilkes-Barre City in which purchases of crack cocaine were made according to police.

Sostre was arraigned before District 11-2-03 Judge Halesey and transported to the Luzerne County Prison after failing to post $125,000.00 straight cash bail.

Delivery of a Sch II Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine
Poss. with Intent to Deliver a Sch II Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine
Possession of Crack Cocaine
Criminal Use of a Communication Facility

Police say they delayed release of this information to protect on-going investigations
