Police ask for information for 35 year old woman who allegedly fled traffic stop

On Sunday, March 31, 2019, at approximately 9:09 PM Sugar Loaf Township Police say an officer on patrol near Turkey Hill observed a female operating a vehicle while her operating privilege was suspended. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle accelerated away from the officer and turned into the Walmart Parking lot. Police say the woman fled on foot behind the Walmart. Officers from multiple surrounding departments attempted to locate the female but were unsuccessful.

Kate Taylor (35) of Benton is facing fleeing and eluding charges and other traffic related offenses.

 
Police ask anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Taylor contact the Sugarloaf Township Police Department at 570-788-5339 all information obtained will be confidential.
