Olyphant, PA

Borough Police say at 4:20am this this morning, the Convenient Store on S. Valley Ave was robbed at gunpoint. According to police the suspect walked in the front doors of the business and held the two workers at gun point. The employees say the suspect demanded they open the cash register and take the money out. Police say he then took the money he led them at gunpoint to the back office were he smashed the phone so they could not call police.

The suspect is described as being 5’9 approximately 180 lbs wearing a green coat with a grey hoody underneath, black gloves, black shoes, and black pants. Police say the man was seen in surveillance video to be using a black semi-automatic style handgun and fled on foot with about $3,700.00 in cash.
