Man catching dog because, “police are useless” police ask him to surrender for warrants

Mahanoy City, PA

UPDATE: Police updated just before 7:00PM today, March 27, 2019, they have taken Jusinski into custody on a 2017 warrant. Jusinski was committed to Schuykill County Prison pending being transported to Columbia County.

Mahanoy City Police released the following statement after Billy Jusinski tagged them in a Facebook post saying, “Catching a dog because Mahanoy City Police Department is useless:

If anyone knows the where about of this man please contact us. Seems he has been busy chasing a dog and failed to take care of some warrant issues from another county he has. Since he has been busy chasing the dog we would like to take the pleasure of helping him with his warrant by serving it to him.

The Department left the following message on Jusinski’s Facebook page

Hi Billy we heard you are catching a dog. Well you never seemed to call us about this issue but while you brought attention to yourself maybe you can come see us about your outstanding warrant? Give us a call (570) 773-2310

Police have also asked with anyone with information about Jusinski’s whereabouts to give them a call.
