Hanover Township Police say A joint operation was conducted with the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and the Hanover Township Narcotics Unit. Authorities say Narcotics operations resulting in the purchase of crack cocaine were made from Joshua Louis Caldwell, 29 years old, of Italy Street, Mocanaqua, Pa in Hanover Township and Warrior Run.
On January 4, 2019, the Pennsylvania State Police, Shickshinny Barracks conducted a traffic stop and took the subject into custody. Caldwell was turned over to Drug Task Force officers.
The subject was arraigned before District Justice Joseph Halesey, Hanover Township on the charges of: Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, crack cocaine (2 counts), Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine (2 counts) and Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine (2 counts).
Bail was set at $25,000.00 straight cash and Caldwell was transported to the Luzerne County Prison
