Wilkes-Barre Police say officers with the city’s anti-crime unit, were conducting pro-active foot patrol in the lower lot of Travel Lodge when they observed an open door to one of the rooms, and there was a strong odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the door.
Authorities say officers observed Jackson sitting on the bed smoking a marijuana blunt and also observed Snee who they knew was wanted for warrants.
Additionally, police say officers observed packaging materials commonly used to package Heroin in plain view.
Police then obtained a search warrant for the room. Following a search authorities say they found 2 bags of Crack Cocaine, numerous types of pills, 2 scales and packaging materials.
