Jessup Police ask public to be aware of strange acting wild animals

Jessup, PA

Police released the following statement today warning the public about unusual activity of wild animals in the area:

In the past few weeks, there has been an outbreak of wild animals acting strangely in Jessup. We have had several foxes and raccoons out in the daytime and they displayed no fear of humans. The Game Commission has stated that this behavior could be due to rabies or distemper. If you should see any wild animals acting in an odd way, stay away from them, keep your pets away from them and call Jessup Police immediately.
