Scranton Police arrest two men for selling Heroin on Prospect Street following investigation
On September 13, 2019, at approximately 7:20PM, Hazleton police were notified about an erratic driver on a blue and white Yamaha motorcycle that was driving erratically at high rates of speed throughout the city of Hazleton.
The same make, model and color motorcycle has been seen on numerous occasions throughout the summer months driving erratically throughout the Hazleton causing a nuisance according to authorities.
The officers responded to follow the motorcycle and located the operator attempting to push the vehicle in the area of 10th and Locust Streets, but the operator dropped the motorcycle and immediate fled on foot when the officers turned on their emergency lights in the unmarked police vehicle.
Officers attempted to locate the operator but were unable to and seized the motorcycle, which was towed by Zeiners Towing and held for evidence.
“A similar motorcycle was seen riding recklessly at fun fest last weekend, ” said Police Chief Jerry Speziale “We will hold the motorcycle and continue to aggressively stop the nuisance created by these off-road ATVs and motorcycles.”
