Hanover Township Police arrest man for DUI, Possession of a Controlled Substance

Hanover, PA

Hanover Township Police in Luzerne County say they’ve arrested Kenneth Michaels of Hanover Township on suspicion of DUI and Possession of a controlled substance following a one car motor vehicle crash in which Michaels, who was the driver of a Jeep Liberty, allegedly left the roadway and struck an advertisement bench and the Noble Furniture sign.

Police say the accident happened this morning, March 16, 2019, around 5AM on East Main Street.

Michaels was transported to a local hospital for toxicology. Police say charges will be filed pending the results of the toxicology results as well as numerous summary offenses.
