Ashley man arrested in Hanover Township for drug trafficking, bond $200,000- 10th criminal case

Pablo Valentin, 41 yrs., of Ashley Street, Ashley Borough picked up his 10th criminal case since 2006.

On February 7, 2019, authorities say joint narcotics operation was conducted with the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, Ashley Borough Police Department and Hanover Township Narcotics Unit resulting in the arrest of Pablo Valentin, 41 years old, of Ashley Street, Ashley Borough.

A Search Warrant was served at 9:35AM hours, at an Ashley Street, Ashley Borough address and narcotics officers allege they recovered heroin, marihuana, drug paraphernalia, $1,085.00 in US Currency and two semi-automatic handguns.

Prior to today, police allege Drug Task Force officers conducted narcotics operations and purchases of heroin were made from Valentin.

The subject, Valentin, was arraigned before District 11-2-03 Judge J. Halesey, rear 1460 Sans Souci Parkway, Hanover Township on charges of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Heroin/Marihuana, Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance Heroin/Marihuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Firearm Prohibited.

Bail was set at $200,000.00 straight cash and Valentin was transported to the Luzerne County Prison.

A Probation detainer was also entered on Valentin from the Luzerne County Adult Probation Department.

08/08/2006 False Identification to Law Enforcement- pleads guilty, 6 months probation

7/26/2008 2 counts Manufacture/Deliver/Possession/With Intent to  Manufacture Or Deliver, related charges- 3 of 4 charges dropped, 24 months probation in plea agreement

7/11/2008 2 counts Manufacture/Deliver/Possession/With Intent to  Manufacture Or Deliver,  Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, related charges- 3 of 4 drug charges dropped 24 months probation combined with 7/26/2008 case.

2/28/2013 Possession Of Firearm Prohibited – found not guilty by jury

7/8/2014 DUI: Controlled Substance – Schedule 2 or 3 – 1st Offense and 5 related charges, pleads guilty to 2 charges given 3 days to 6 years prison, 12 months probation in plea agreement

8/26/2015 Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, driving while suspended and related offenses, sentenced to 12 to 24 months jail and 24 months probation in plea agreement

9/14/2018 Accident Involving Damage Attended Vehicle/Property, Fail Stop And Give Information and Render Aid, Driving while Suspended, Careless Driving- plea agreement for probation.
