On February 21, 2019 the Wilkes-Barre Police say they responded to the area of New Grant Street in reference to a robbery with a handgun. Upon further investigation police authorities say they determined the suspects, Ravone Davis and Ashvan Terrell Money were also involved in another robbery in Wilkes-Barre Township on the same date.
The suspects were tracked down to the area of Sherman Hills where they were taken into custody by Wilkes-Barre Detectives and patrol officers according to authorities.
Police say investigation officers obtained additional information while conducting a sweep in the area and the information directly linked the two suspects to several other robberies that occurred in January 2019 in the North End and East End sections of the the City of Wilkes-Barre.
In January 2019 the Wilkes-Barre Police responded to several robberies in the North End and East End sections of the city. During the course of the robberies two black male subjects approached the victims and forcefully knocked them to the ground and stole property police say displaying a weapon to commit the robberies.
Both suspects were taken into custody and charged with Robbery and related offences. Additional charges are pending related to at least four other robberies that were reported in January 2019 police say.
