On Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at approximately 11:30PM Upper Allen Police say they responded to a domestic violence incident that occurred in the 1700 block of Fisher Road.
Authorities say their investigation determined that John-Michael Dillon injured the victim in the assault. When the victim tried to leave after the assault, Dillon allegedly chased after the victim and struck the victim vehicle with his own vehicle. The vehicle collision occurred in the area of Fisher Road and Southview Drive and the victim reported seeing people walking in the area at the time.
Dillon was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to call Upper Allen Police (717) 238-9676. An anonymous tip line is also available by calling or texting 717-850-UAPD (8273).
The 31 year old Dillon was convicted in 2007 of Criminal Conspiracy Engaging – Theft By Unlawful Taking and Criminal Attempt Purchasing Alcohol Beverage By A Minor resulting in 12 months probation. In 2013 Dillon saw charges of Rape and Indecent Assault Forcible Compulsion withdrawn by the District Attorney in a case in which he pleaded no contest to Simple Assault and Drug Paraphernalia charges leading to a sentence of 3-23 months in county prison. While on probation the following January Dillon was arrested on charges of Simple Assault for which he was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation on that charge..
