On December 4, 2018, at approximately 9:43 AM police in Harrisburg say officers responded to a call from Amtrak Police regarding a deceased male found along the railroad tracks in the Greenbelt area south of the PennDOT building. Police identified the victim, 21-year-old Daniel Kelly, and say Kelly died from multiple stab wounds.
Through the investigation authorities say , 20-year-old Dylan Reeves was identified as a possible suspect in this case and determined determined that Reeves has ties to the State College area. State College Police were notified while detectives were in route to State College.
The State College Police were able to locate Reeves and he was taken into custody at 2:00 PM. Reeves was also wanted for a probation detainer in Center County. Reeves will be transported back to Dauphin County to be arraigned on the murder charges.
Reeves was charged with child pornography charges last year in Centre County as well as Criminal Use Of Communication Facility and Corruption of Minors and saw all but the charges for corruption of minors dropped.
