Columbia, PA

Police say on December 29, 2018 at approximately 12:40pm the Columbia Borough Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of North Second Street for a report of a domestic in progress. 

Upon arrival the officer observed a male and female arguing on the sidewalk according to police.  The male had a scratch on his left shoulder and red marks around his neck and stated that the female, identified as Rosa I Alicea, 45, of Columbia  grabbed him by the neck, choked him, scratched his shoulder and tore his t-shirt police say. 

Alicea was arrested for simple assault and strangulation and was transported to the Columbia Borough Police Station where two small containers of marijuana were found in her possession resulting in additional charges. She remains in Lancaster County Prison unable to make a $50,000 bond.
