Richard J. Caprarella wanted by police in Lancaster County for alleged robbery

Ephrata, PA

Ephrata Police say they have a warrant for the arrest of Richard J. Caprarella, 55, previously of Lancaster.  On September 9, 2019, police say Caprarella removed five cartons of cigarettes from behind the sales counter at Walmart, 890 East Main Street, Ephrata Township.

While attempting to steal the merchandise, Caprarella authorities say he threatened two clerks with physical force.

Caprarella is charged with Robbery.   Caprarella may be operating a gray Toyota Highlander bearing Pennsylvania registration FGS1544.  Multiple other law enforcement agencies possess arrest warrants for Caprarella.

Caprarella is wanted in York County in a case of felony Retail Theft and misdemeanor Theft by Deception, another case in York County for felony Retail Theft, and an active case in Lancaster County also for felony Retail Theft.
