Northern Lancaster Regional Police warn of Warwick Police impersonators

Northern Lancaster Regional Police warn of Warwick Police impersonators

The Northern Lancaster Regional Police Department says they’ve been to scam callers stating they are from the “Warwick Police” and trying to demand money for bogus warrants or arrests.

Police say the scammers have used phone number (717) 626-3162 as their “caller ID” – and when people redial they are routed to Northern Lancaster Regional Police.

Police say in order to stop these scammers in their tracks they are disabling that phone number.

To reach the Northern Lancaster Regional Police for a non-Emergency, our office number is (717) 733-0965 and police advise calling 911 for emergencies.

Police say there  is no need to report these calls to the Northern Lancaster Regional Police unless you or someone you know has fallen victim to the scammer(s).
