Man sliced with knife in Columbia Borough, police searching for suspect

Columbia, PA

On October 23, 2019, at approximately 9:08pm the Columbia Borough Police were dispatched to the 300 Block of North Third Street for a report of an assault.  Upon arrival the officer spoke with the victim who said that he was looking at his phone while walking toward Burger King when he stopped momentarily in the 400 Block of North third Street.  The victim told police he said he heard a noise and two males, who were wearing black hoodies, came out of a breezeway.  The victim said that one of the males sliced his left forearm two times with a knife then got into a beat up older model  black car and left  traveling North on Third Street.
