Northern Lancaster Regional Police Department (NLCRPD) says they were dispatched to a reported domestic disturbance in a residence located in the 300 block of Cardinal Road, Warwick Township. Upon arrival at the scene NLCRPD officers say they were confronted by an intoxicated subject they identified as Tamara Suzanne Shirk, age 55, of Hilltop Drive, Stevens, PA .
During the course of the incident police say Shirk kicked, punched, and repeatedly struck responding officers. As a result Shirk was taken into custody and transported for medical evaluation.
Shirk has been charged with the offenses of: Aggravated Assault ,Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct.
The defendant was arraigned before MDJ Russell released the defendant on $50,000.00 unsecured bond. A preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled as her attorney, Cory J. Miller, of Lancaster has requested a continuance.
