Lititz Police: Man uses false reports to police to stalk woman

Lititz, PA

Lititz Borough Police patrol say they filed a criminal complaint against Brian Kenneth SKAGGS (age 34), of Lancaster, alleging the crimes of Stalking and False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities.

On March 15, 2019, at 12:56 AM, police allege Skaggs reported information to police which is believed to have been known to him as untrue.  Additionally, on March 15, 2019, at 3:17 PM, police say Skaggs again reported information to police which is alleged to have been known to him as untrue. 

In both instances, Skaggs reported information about the same adult female and following a brief investigation a criminal complaint was filed alleging the crimes of Stalking and False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities. 

Skaggs was taken into custody at is residence and transported to Central Booking to await an immediate preliminary arraignment, which occurred on March 16, 2019. 

Skaggs was lodged at the Lancaster County Prison following his arraignment after being unable to post bail.  A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
