Lancaster DA: Drug Task Force arrests man with 220 bags of Fentanyl

Lancaster, PA

A Manheim man is charged with dealing Fentanyl and Cocaine as result of a recent arrest in West Earl Township. Authorities say the  Lancaster County Drug Task Force stopped Nathaniel Perez-McCain’s Mazda August 13, 2019, on Oregon Pike (Route 272), just south of Akron, and allegedly found 220 bags of fentanyl and 3.5 grams of crack cocaine in the vehicle.

Authorities charged Perez-McCain with possession with intent to deliver Fentanyl and Cocaine and possession of paraphernalia. McCain, 29, also is charged for sale of Cocaine and Fentanyl he made in July while under police surveillance.

McCain was arraigned in two cases and his bail was set at $500,000. McCain also is being held regarding a state parole matter.

During the August13 vehicle stop, detectives say they found $2,185 cash, a digital scale and sandwich bags (for packaging drugs). The seized Fentanyl had an estimated street value of $2,200 and the crack cocaine, about $200.
