Lanacster, PA

On Friday November 8, 2019 at approximately 1PM Lancaster Police say developed information that 19 year old Joshua Luciano was at an apartment on the 500 block of  East Chestnut Street.  When officers arrived they established a perimeter around the residence. As police were preparing to enter the apartment they say Luciano jumped from a 2nd floor window to an adjoining rear yard attempting to flee to a rear alley by climbing over a utility shed.

According to police Luciano doubled back to the yard when he saw police in the alley. Police gave commands to Luciano to stop running and  when Luciano continued to flee he was tazered. According to police  deployment of the taser was successful and Luciano was taken into custody without further incident.

Luciano was processed on the complaint and held for arraignment. Luciano was later committed to LCP in lieu of $300,000 bail.
