Columbia Police investigating suspicious activity, screen cut at home over night

Columbia, PA

On October 9, 2019, at approximately 7:35 am the Columbia Borough Police Department responded to a call in the 900 block of Houston Street for suspicious activity.  Police spoke with a resident who reported  around 3:50am his dog ran downstairs and started barking aggressively.  He said he didn’t think much of it until he woke up in the morning and noticed that the screens in his front first floor windows had been cut.  It appeared to police the suspect did not enter the residence.  The cost to repair the screens is approximately $20.00.
