5 trucks, 2 drivers off the road in Lancaster County after pop-up truck inspection

​On October 28, 2019, the East Cocalico Township Police Department, along with 11 other agencies, conducted a commercial vehicle inspection/weigh inspection on Colonel Howard Blvd near the PA Turnpike ramps. 

Police say 38 trucks were flagged for inspection. Of the 38, 5 trucks and 2 drivers, including one without a driver’s license, were deemed an imminent hazard and prohibited from continued operation. Additionally, 2 out of the 3 vehicles that were weighed were deemed overweight.
